Tom Gibney is the Managing Director for Epstein Architecture & Engineering SRL heading the Romanian office.

He has 24 years working experience in the petrochemical industry and on real estate projects having held Senior Management positions for the past 16 years. During his involvement with Epstein he participated in numerous projects, he was the Clients Lead Design Coordinator and Architectural Consultant on the 300 million Euro mixed use retail and office development in Warsaw Poland “Zloty Tarasy”. Also Mr. Gibney was the Lead Project Director for Cameron project, a 16.3M €, 134,550 square foot manufacturing and office facility in Ploiesti executed by Epstein on a full design-build basis with Epstein performing all architectural design and engineering services for the entire project including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical. As Design-Builder for the project Epstein also performed all construction contracting and management of the construction phase of the project including procurement, scheduling, safety and quality management, and the management and coordination of over a dozen separate trade and specialty subcontractors.

Mr Gibney’s professional qualifications includes: BSc Mechanical Engineer, QA Certificate in Quality Management System Assessment, Welding Engineer Certificate, HSE Parts 1&2 Diving Experience (Air & Mixed Gas). He is also member of International Pipelines Industries Guild, Polish Representive FOR Pipelines Industries Guild and Member of British Institute of Facility Management.
