Overview Hospitality Trends - Bucharest 2009
Over 260 hospitality executives including investors, developers, owners, as well as operators attended Hospitality Trends Bucharest 2009, a complex event dedicated to the industry. The agenda included some of the most significant issues in the field: investing and lending alternatives, presentation of the local development opportunities, trends for 2010 as well as the emergence of hotel brands in the local market.
The overall theme of the conference "The Year after Tomorrow" focused on 3 major challenges:
- GROWTH: where and how development takes place, will business models remain the same?
- GREAT: excellence in our products and services and how to combine it with increased efficiency and higher productivity
- GREEN: the sustainability issue, not in words but in action: best practices
Hospitality Trends Bucharest is an event which addresses the opportunities and challenges of investing in, developing and running hospitality businesses in South Eastern Europe, with a special focus on Romania.

The Conference was opened by our distinguished guest, the Minister of Romanian Tourism, Mrs. Elena Udrea.
