Lukas holds an MA degree in Tourism Management and Leisure Industry from the International Management Center in Krems/Austria.
In autumn 2008 Lukas started a postgraduate Master of Science program in Real Estate at Danube University in Austria which he is expected to finalize in 2010.

Lukas joined KPMG’s office in Budapest at the beginning of 2006 and is currently a Senior Advisor within the Real Estate, Leisure & Tourism Group of KPMG Advisory in Central & Eastern Europe. Since then he has worked on numerous projects in Germany, Austria, Croatia, Spain, Hungary, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
His projects included more than 70 hotel and resort valuations across Europe, hotel operator search and management contract negotiations, market and financial feasibility studies of hotels, the preparation of sales and marketing plans for integrated resorts as well as assistance in hotel transactions.
Before joining KPMG Lukas has worked as Manager Development for an international hotel management company in Hamburg, Germany. In his position he was responsible for the evaluation of new hotel projects, review and negotiations of hotel management and lease contracts as well as the preparation of operational forecasts for the proposed hotels. His professional experience in the hotel and tourism industry further includes working in places such as Switzerland, the Caribbean and the USA (e.g. InterContinental, Renaissance, Sacher, Sandals Antigua Resort).
