
Frédéric Le Fichoux

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality, Frédéric was Consultant at CB Richard Ellis Hotels covering the CEE region.
Frédéric has completed a MBA in International Hospitality Management at IMHI (Cornell – ESSEC) University in Paris and was presented with the Award of Excellence as the best professional from his course intake of sixty. During his studies, he specialised in project development, assets’ valuation, asset management, real estate and corporate finance.
He recently graduated from the RICS Postgraduate Diploma in Property Investment from the University of Reading and is now member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Frédéric speaks French and English and has basic knowledge of Czech.
ResponsibilitiesFrédéric joined Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality in March 2007 and is based in Prague, Czech Republic. Frederic’s responsibility at Cushman & Wakefield is to lead the Central & Eastern European hospitality team (investment, valuation, development advisory, and operator selection). Frédéric has been in the CEE region for the last 6 years.
Recent SuccessesFrédéric has over 12 years of experience in the hospitality sector, having worked in operations, at different managerial positions for more than 6 years. His experience as a professional adviser accounts for the last 6 years. Some of his recent successes include:
- Development Advisory/Feasibility Study – Frédéric advised on numerous hotel developments project throughout the entire CEE region. These projects included hotels as part of mixed-use developments, stand alone urban hotels, apartment hotels, and resort hotels. Frédéric recently advised EBRD in debt funding for the deluxe Aman Resort Sveti Stefan project in Montenegro;
- Operator Selection – Frédéric was responsible for the negotiation and selection of West Paces Hotels for a luxury resort development in Croatia; Sofitel for a 5-star hotel in Prague; NH Hoteles for a 4-star hotel located in a secondary city of the Czech Republic; Kempinski Hotels for a 5-star hotel in Prague.
- Valuation – Frédéric valued over 80 existing hotels and hotel development projects (c. 16,000 rooms) throughout the CEE region. These hotels were essentially 4 and 5-star hotels;
- Investment Transaction – Frédéric has recently sold two hotel development projects to Starwood Capital for the expansion of their economic hotel chain in the CEE region. Frédéric also took part in the sale of the Carlton mixed-use property that includes the 168-room 4-star Radisson hotel in Bratislava (c. EUR 90 m);
- IPO Listing – Frédéric worked as adviser to Warimpex in a EUR 500 m offering to the Warsaw and Vienna stock markets including 10 existing hotels and 17 hotel development projects.
